The Cock Loft
| One of three recently renovated terraced stone cottages, which used to be the old stable wing, the Cock Loft is light and fresh, quirky and elegant. Exuberant displays of home-grown flowers look beautiful against the plain cream walls; warm brick and terracotta floors strewn with a cow skin rug add character; a wood-burner, leather Knowle sofa and deep window seats add comfort. |
On a mezzanine is a large bedroom with seagrass underfoot, striking wooden beams above, and a king size bed in the middle. A green velvet chaise longue adds a bit of romantic boudoir, candles in the open fireplace set the scene; next door is a large and elegant bathroom. There’s space outside for a table and chairs. |
